Due to important backlogs at the Immigration Office in Luxembourg there are delays for non-EU Nationals to obtain an appointment for the biometrics to get a Residence Card (3-5 weeks).
Please be aware that it might affect your travel plans especially if you are under a Visa D (only valid 90 days), as you won't be allowed to re-enter the Schengen area when it has expired
