Minimum Wage Indexation as of 1st August 2018 in Luxembourg

Luxembourg government confirmed that due to the indexation: wages, salaries and pensions will increase by 2.5% as from August 1st.

The minimum monthly salary for unskilled workers has increased to € 2048.54, up from € 1998.59.

The minimum wage for skilled workers has increased to € 2458.25, up from € 2398.30.

This will also impact the EU Blue Card Application which is based on the average annual salary.

Luxembourg employers will need to apply the increase on the salaries of their employees. They should also review current work permit application and renewal to comply with this change
